# Bright Mode

Bright Mode is a block theme for those who love modern design and vibrant colors. It is a work-in-progress and evolving, so follow along as we explore and update often. Coming soon are fresh patterns, new templates, and even variations. HINT: We are just getting started. There is a lot more on the way. Ka-chow!

## Requirements

- Gutenberg plugin (latest)
- WordPress 6.0+
- PHP 5.6+
- License: [GPLv2](http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html) or later

## Getting Started

1. Set up a local WordPress development environment, I recommend using [Local](https://localwp.com/).
2. Ensure you are using WordPress 6.0 or version 6.0+ with the [Gutenberg plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/) active.
3. Clone / download this repository into the `/wp-content/themes/` directory of your new WordPress instance.
4. In the WordPress admin, use the Appearance > Themes screen to activate Bright Mode.
