Beautiful Decay is an attractive customisable theme, with a colour changing effect as you scroll down the page.  Install, upload your own header image, and you're ready to go!

The image shown for each post is the featured image (you can define this when editing each post) and if that image doesn't exist, then it will then show the post's main image instead.  For your information - the thumbnail is 343 pixels wide by 100 pixels in height.

The header image is 1000 pixels wide by 250 pixels high - you can easily change this to an image of your choice.  Click on Appearance, and then Header, and then follow the instructions to change this image.

Add Twitter and Facebook icons to the top right of  the layout by typing the URLs (web address!) under "Theme Options" in your control panel - i.e. http://www.twitter.com/YourUsernameHere etc - if you don't add anything here, then neither icon will display.

Post titles are restricted to one line displayed in order to maintain a consistent appearance throughout the website.

This theme is free for both personal and commercial use.
