You will notice next to many options and option sections on the Aspen Admin tabs. Clicking the ? will open the Aspen Help file to the appropriate place.

RECOMMENDED PLUGINS

Some recommended plugins for your Aspen Theme

The following plugins are recommended to use with Aspen. While most WordPress plugins work with Aspen, these provide features commonly needed by Aspen users.

Slide Shows and image Galleries
These slide shows and galleries are known to work on both desktop and mobile views:
- Meteor Slides - good for header slideshows
- Portfolio Slideshow - also good for header slideshows. Uses native WP gallery settings, and is a nice replacement for the default gallery.
SEO Optimization
- WordPress SEO by Yoast - probably the best. Aspen automatically supports Yoast's breadcrumbs if they are enabled.
Server Side Caching
Caching can help with site performance for busy sites on shared servers. We've know these cache plugins work well. Quick Cache is the easiest to use and setup.

Contact Form
- Fast Secure Contact Form - does it all, easy to configure and style
Others
These plugins are known to work well with Aspen.
- Ultimate TinyMCE - extend the page/post editor
- Dynamic Widgets - an additional way to control when widgets are displayed, automatic compatibility
- WordPress Download Monitor - nice interface for downloading files from your site
- WP-PageNavi - if installed, will be used instead of Aspen's Page Navigation
- WP-Paginate - if installed, will be used instead of Aspen's Page Navigation
