1. Set up default images to display when there are no featured images. 2. Navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Static Front Page and choose one of the options. You can have eihter a blog layout or page layout depending on your needs. 3. Go to Settings -> Permalinks and save page without changing the settings unless you also wish to do that. Type in appsetter in the search form and press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard - Click Activate to get started. 3. Most importantly, you need to setup the menu by assigning a menu to the "primary menu" position. 4. Navigate to Appearance > Customize in your admin panel and customize the rest of the options to your taste. 5.
